Bizdex MCP Server

AI agents are becoming the place where more work gets planned, researched, and followed up. Bizdex can now join those workflows directly, so your assistant can use your relationship network while you work in the AI tools you already prefer.

In plain terms: this means you can ask your AI about the people and companies in Bizdex instead of switching tabs, searching manually, and piecing context together yourself. Your agent can help answer who knows whom, what a contact is working on, which companies are relevant, and what follow-up should happen next.

This is useful for anyone who already uses AI agents to plan outreach, research companies, prepare meetings, manage investor or customer conversations, or stay on top of their network. Bizdex gives the agent the relationship context it was missing.

What you can do with it

The new Bizdex MCP server lets supported AI clients connect to Bizdex through the Model Context Protocol. Once connected, your agent can search your network, look up people and companies, understand current asks, and help turn relationship context into next steps.

You can ask questions like: Who can introduce me to this company? Which people in my network know investors? What does this contact do? Which companies are looking for customers? Who should I ask about this market? What should I remember about this person's current ask?

Your agent can also help keep Bizdex up to date. It can create intents, add company context, capture what someone is looking for, and import LinkedIn connections through Bizdex so the relationship graph becomes more useful over time.

Available MCP tools

The first version includes tools for account context, network search, network member lookup, personal intent listing and creation, network member intent listing and creation, company search, company lookup, company creation, company intent listing and creation, and LinkedIn CSV network import.

All tools are scoped to the authenticated Bizdex user and team. That means agents only work with the Bizdex data available through the API key used during setup.

Supported clients

Setup pages are available for popular AI clients including Cursor, Claude Code, ChatGPT, Codex, Perplexity, Raycast, Gemini, Windsurf, Cline, Zed, OpenCode, Zapier, Microsoft Copilot, n8n, Make, and Manus.

Setup and access

Visit the MCP page, choose your AI client, and generate a dedicated MCP API key. Cursor supports a setup deeplink, Claude Code includes a copyable command, and the other clients include copy-ready configuration.

Technical notes

The MCP server is exposed from the existing Bizdex API at /mcp. It uses API-key authentication, team-scoped context, controlled tool errors, and rate limiting for operational safety.

This first release focuses on practical agent workflows: finding context, adding lightweight updates, creating companies and intents, and importing network data. We will keep expanding the tool surface based on the workflows people actually use with their agents.
